The Lodge’s design, architecture and décor of the thatched chalets on the edge of the plateau are contemporary, giving it an authentic experience. Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Lodge’s main area is a three tired deck with an open-plan restaurant and kitchen, a library, a cosy fireplace, an infinity swimming pool, and comfortable lounge areas. Each room is connected to the other by timber walkways, while the golf cart buggies are used to lead guests to their rooms, from the main area.

Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Camp has 25 spacious and elegantly designed thatched chalets, each connected along a raised wooden walkway, and looking out to the vast Musabi plains. There are two room including a luxury safari room, and safari room. Each room is comfortably equipped with large expanses of glass, spacious viewing decks, well-appointed en-suite bathrooms with a stand-alone bath, and for those more adventurous, an outside shower is provided. Whilst the Safari Rooms comprises a four-poster bed, twin beds, or both with mosquito nets, a writing desk, a luggage rack, and en-suite facilities including flush toilet, bidet, washbasin, indoor bathtub, and outdoor shower.

Amenities at the lodge include a fan, a phone, a safe, a hairdryer, Wi-Fi, 24-hour electricity, and 220V power points for charging electrical equipment. The Luxury Safari Room options takes on all these features, including a separate living area, a mini-bar, twin washbasins, and bath robes

Getting There:

Mbali Mbali Soroi Serengeti Camp can be reached via road transfer from Seronera Airstrip, a journey along a road through the bush, and stopping at a climb to Soroi’s elevated position.

Game Drives:

A Game drive is a must-do activity where guests are led by an expert guide who will take them to all the hotspots for animal sightings. Guests enjoy great sights of elephants, giraffes, buffalos and lions among other wild game as well as herds of Zebras, gazelles and millions of Wildebeests.

Hot air balloon

Guests can also head out on the Serengeti plains to view the Park from a unique vantage point, by ascending high in the sky, on one of the hot-air balloon safaris.  Guests are able to spot the herds move below them before enjoying a delicious bush breakfast upon landing.
