Mbugani Seronera Camp is located in Seronera, in central Serengeti National Park, and is open throughout the year for a prime game watching and full immersion in nature in a safe, tranquil, and home-like setting.

Mbugani Seronera Camp is ideally situated to provide authentic views of water and wildlife. Besides Mugani Seronera camp, Mbugani Seronera Camp also offers a mobile camp that follows The Great Migration of the Wildebeest. The camp is set in a truly serene location, which boasts a wide range of wildlife passing through the camp going towards the turner river which is located behind the camp.

Both camps are powered by solar energy, along with backup generator to keep essential systems running at all times.

Accommodation & facilities

The intimate Mbugani Seronera Camp has 14 spacious sleeping tents, all with en-suite facilities including Eco friendly flush toilet with showers, plus a main lounge and a dining area which provides plenty of sitting. The tents/rooms offer either double bed or Twin beds , Tripple beds and Quad for family with young children.

All the tents have comfortable beds with proper linen to ensure guests get an ideal relaxed sleep after a long day game drive safari. The tents are widely spread to provide privacy and sense of freedom.

Other general facilities are; 24/7 power with charging cables, spacious, wide, airy windows, private bath with shower, sink and flush toilet running hot and cold water.

The camp offers a Lounge / Bar / Dining area and to the fireplace for relaxing. The camp is powered by solar power for lighting. Hot and cold water is available 24/7.  The camp staff are so hospitable and capable to look after the guest’s needs during their stay at Mbugani Camp.

Lounge and campfire

A lounge tent is set as a gathering place to meet up with other travelers, charge up cameras, phones & other electronics, or to relax on the sofas, reflecting on the good fortune to be staying there. A campfire is lit every evening, encircled by safari camp chairs and side tables for a Sundowner (snacks and beverages), as well as storytelling and a recap of the day’s game drive.

Dining

The dining tent is made up of hardwood furniture, crisp linens, china, glassware and flatware along with locally-made fabrics and decorative items. The walls of the tent can be removed for al fresco dining and boasts a full bar with fine wines from South Africa.

Mbugani Seronera Camp offers 3 multi-course meals each day, as well as lunch boxes for game drives to its guests. The camp has an accomplished chef who prepares scrumptious and generous meals, together with freshly baked breads and desserts. On the other hand, Vegetarian cuisine and special dietary meals are prepared upon request.

Mbugani Seronera Camp is just a 30 minutes’ drive away from Seronera Airstrip and approximately 8 hours, by road from Arusha, for a total distance of 345 kilometers
