Singita Sasakwa Lodge is located in the private Grumeti Reserve in the Western corridor of Serengeti, which forms the Serengeti Mara ecosystem. Sasakwa lodge is one of the most luxurious Singita Lodges with some of the most stunning views in Northern Tanzania. The lodge is set at the top of the Sasakwa hill, offering breathtaking views over the great Serengeti plains.
Singita Sasakwa lodge is built in a grand safari style of an English Manor comprising of 9 cottage suites, offering 1 to 4 bedrooms, each air conditioned featuring a bedroom, fireplace, private decks, lounge, en-suite bathrooms and heated infinity pool.

Common activities at Singita Sasakwa lodge include Game drives both Morning and evening game drives in the vast and endless plains of the Serengeti, guided safari walks with an armed ranger guide with vast knowledge about the flora and fauna of the area, community visits to the local Maasai Communities, tennis games, anti-poaching observation post visit,  wine experiences and swimming

Accommodation

Singita Sasakwa Lodge is built in with 9 private cottages and a villa, each having a private infinity pool. We love the private infinity plunge pools in each room and the unbelievable stables boasting some of the very best horse back safari in Tanzania.

The view from the lodge’s spacious veranda is endless over the magnificent Serengeti plains below. A sense of grandeur is woven throughout the turn-of-the-century manor house and private cottages through a blend of an ultimate European style and East African influences. From this superb stunning point, one can become absorbed in the marvel of wildlife in abundance, including the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest, popularly known as the greatest natural spectacle on earth.

Rooms + suites

Singita Sasakwa has nine cottages, built in a stately Edwardian manor house style at the main lodge and one Hillside Suite, all with private plunge pools. All cottages are all uniquely named, with each offering ample space for guests to spread out in their own living area, large dressing room, oversized bathroom and bedroom.

The private Hillside Suite which is set high on a secluded hillside away from the main lodge, offers infinite views over the plains of the Serengeti.  This intimate hideout, (for two) ensures an ideal connection with nature, whereas every creature comfort is catered for.

The rooms feature spacious interiors, two wooden outdoor decks, a private rim flow pool as well as a unique ‘bar-deli’ filled with delicacies, a perfect authentic retreat.

Guests enjoy all services from private in-room dining to a private game vehicle, Field Guide and host/butler.

The wide indoor and outdoor areas allow for wellness experiences provided by nature, including calming yoga practices, in-room spa treatments and ideal couples’ massages on the expansive decks

Singita Sasakwa Lodge offers an expansive swimming pool, close to the main house in addition to private infinity pools at each cottage and at the private villa. For those who want to stay on track with their gym routine, there’s a large fitness center with state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
